Brief Description about SOLVENT EXTRACTION PLANT:

The separation of oils and fats from oil bearing material is carried out by pressing & solvent extraction. Mechanical pressing and solvent extractions are used for vegetable oil bearing material.

All extraction processes have following common objectives:

• To obtain the fat or oil uninjured and as free as possible from undesirable impurities
• To obtain the fat or oil in as high a yield as is consistent with the economy of process
• To produce an oil cake or residue of the greatest possible value
